Our Practice: We Do Not Sell Your Information
Drew Center Pharmacy does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for the purpose of targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or any commercial purpose unrelated to providing our pharmacy services.
We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles. We do not share your data with data brokers. We do not participate in advertising networks that track your behavior across websites or services.
Your Rights as a California Resident
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know. You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the purposes for collection, and any third parties with whom it has been shared.
- Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Because Drew Center Pharmacy does not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes, no opt-out action is necessary — but we affirm this right regardless.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information (such as health information) to what is necessary to provide the requested service.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You will not receive different pricing, quality of service, or any other adverse treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
Health Information (HIPAA)
As a pharmacy, Drew Center Pharmacy is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Your protected health information (PHI) — including prescription records, health conditions, and medication history — is subject to HIPAA's strict protections, which go beyond CCPA.
We use your health information only for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations as permitted by law. We do not sell protected health information under any circumstances. For a full description of how we handle health information, please refer to our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
